Creating this piece was a really wonderful experience, as we had the opportunity to work with special people. A big thank you goes out to Matt Rifino, who did the mixing & mastering. Our friend Tamás, who you can see in the video, contributed much of his time & energy.

Marina Eckhart reads from her new book Drumheart - Der Klang in mir.

This story is closely connected to Marina's relationship with music and the drums. Years ago, this instrument led her to the metropolis of New York, which is also the setting of the novel. As the title suggests, it's about a young drummer searching for his place in the world while always striving to remain true to his heart. He goes through experiences that demand a lot from him, but the sound of his heart beats in deep connection with that of the drum, and so he relentlessly follows his inner path.
